Site Description: The site was located to the south-west of a group of offshore islands on the south-east corner of Ireland. The seabed at 23 m BCD consisted of tideswept boulders on gravel with a rich variety of marine life, especially bryozoans.

Subsite Description: The seabed consisted of tideswept boulders on gravel with bryozoans, hydroids, sponges and ascidians. The most conspicuous species were Flustra foliacea, Pentapora foliacea, Cellaria spp. and Stolonica socialis.
