Site Description: The site was located on the south side of a sound between some offshore rocks and the mainland on the south coast of Ireland. The seabed from 24 - 32 m BCD consisted of current-swept bedrock with Alcyonium digitatum, Actinothoe sphyrodeta and a variety of bryozoans and hydroids.

Subsite Description: The seabed consisted of current swept bedrock and angular boulders with Alcyonium digitatum, Actinothoe sphyrodeta, Pentapora foliacea and a variety of hydroids.
