Site Description: The site was located to the east of a small offshore island at the southern entrance to the Irish Sea. The seabed consisted of current swept cobbles, gravel and boulders. Bryozoans and hydroids were abundant and diverse.

Subsite Description: A mixture of large and small boulders with patches of cobbles and coarse shelly gravel. Hydroids and bryozoans were abundant on the cobbles and boulders.
