There are no records for this species at present.

Now extinct in Ireland, this arctic-alpine lichen has a web-like thallus of pale grey, wart-like granules and brown, stalked discs with a conspicuous margin. It grows on peat, mosses, soil and moribund vegetation. It has only ever been known from County Antrim. Spot tests: K+ yellow.

  • Mountain tops with some calcareous outcrop.
