Alchemilla mollis
(Map updated: March 2008)

This species of lady's mantle is a native of the Carpathian Mountains. It is a very popular garden plant and is increasingly found as a garden escape on waste ground, rubbish tips, in old quarries etc., sometimes in great abundance. It is similar in appearance to the native Alchemilla spp., but rather bigger, more robust, much hairier and more decorative.

All names: Alchemilla mollis (Buser) Rothm.
