This is the main rising for the waters flowing through Pollaraftra. The main flow vanishes and reappears twice before cascading into the valley. One sink can be entered for about 6m before precarious boulders block the way. To relate the rising to the main account of Pollaraftra, read the account of Key Site 1162.
