Summary of site: |
A 20m shaft drops on to a 12m slope leading down to a still lake, 36m long. Near the end of the lake there is a small passage which gives access to a substantial passage ending in a chamber. The flow of a major stream, presumed to be the Owenbrean, can be heard from here. A tight crawl from this section of the cave connects with Bruce’s Pot. | Only one dive into the depths of the lake has been attempted. After 8m of descent it opened out into a large, cavernous space that was not explored further. |
