Summary of site: |
Three swallow holes on an inclined bench between the 170 and 200 m contours drain into steeply inclines Dartry Limestone. The most northerly is an active stream sink below a small cliff with a waterfall cascading over a Tertiary dyke at its entrance. The other two take a trickle of water. |
