Summary of site:
Pollnamansh is a cave for the emaciated, and even they will find it a rib-crushing experience. It commences at an entrance forced by a tight squeeze, then a slope and crawl to a small, wet chamber—the Cistern. A horizontal slot leads on to a pool and 25m of progressively narrower, partly flooded passages, until the most meagre human frame can no longer advance. A small chamber at a tight bend in this final section—the Pleasure Dome—is richly decorated with cave formations.
