Riparian habitat - click to enlargeHABITAT & DIET: The habitats of the soprano pipistrelle are generally similar to those of the common pipistrelle. However, the soprano pipistrelle tends to prefer cluttered habitats, generally avoiding farmland (improved grassland/ arable land). It is more often found in habitats such as broadleaf and mixed woodland edge, riparian habitats and parkland. They are much more concentrated in riparian habitats.
