Whiskered bat Myotis mystacinus

SOUNDS: Most sounds produced by whiskered bats are above the level of human hearing, although occasionally bats may be heard chirping from the roost, particularly just before emergence. With a bat detector (heterodyne), frequency modulated sweeps similar to Daubenton's and Natterer's bats are heard, that are strongest at 45kHz. In comparison to Daubenton's bats, whiskered bats emit pulses with a much more irregular rhythm.
