Description: Thallus grows from prostrate axes erect fronds to 20 cms, compressed and branching distichously once or twice.
Habitat: Epilithic in the lower littoral and sublittoral to 15m.
Distribution: Generally distributed around the British Isles. Europe: Medirerranean, Portugal, Spain, France and Norway. Malaga.
