Recorded once from South Kerry only in Ireland, P. leptospora is identical to P. borreri (described elsewhere) in thallus colour and disc (perithecia) size. It differs only in the size of the spores which are narrower (2.53.5 v 4.55.0m wide). It was collected from holly.

  • Like P. borreri differing only in the narrower spores
  • On holly (Killarney).
