(Map updated: March 2008)

This hybrid between the native bluebell and its Spanish relative occurs frequently where the two species grow together in gardens, or in demesne woodland. Occasionally it is found as an escape and on rubbish tips. The hybrid is fully fertile, and back-crossing can produce populations which show every combination of characters of the two parent species.
