| Species Description: |
| A tall, erect-growing perennial herbaceous species of roadsides, hedgebanks, dunes, chalk quarries etc. The plant is scattered across Northern Ireland, but is not very common. It is, however, much more common than Agrimonia procera (fragrant agrimony). The fruit has a crown of spines which project upwards. |
