Potentilla reptans

A perennial herbaceous species with prostrate, rooting stems. The leaves are palmate with between 5 and seven leaflets. Flowers are yellow with five petals.

It is common in many parts of Northern Ireland, in waste places, hedgebanks and grassy places, mainly in lowland situations.
