Saponaria officinalis
(Map updated: March 2008)

This is an introduced species in Northern Ireland and nearly all plants have double flowers (i.e. with multiple petals). They are probably derived from garden waste, but some populations are long-established at their sites.

All names: Saponaria officinalis L.
