Thalictrum alpinum
(Map updated: March 2008)

This is a slender montane species only ever found in two sites within Northern Ireland, one in the Garron area of Co Antrim and one on Thomas's Mountain in Co Down. Both were discovered by the late Arthur W. Stelfox, one of Ireland's foremost naturalists, in 1949 and 1955 respectively, but it has not proven possible so far to re-locate the plants since his day.

All names: Thalictrum alpinum L.
