Arum italicum
(Map updated: March 2008)

This is generally similar to the common cuckoo-pint (Arum maculatum) except that it has white veins on the leaves (which appear earlier than those of A. maculatum) and it flowers a little later. It is not native in Ireland but is occasionally encountered on roadside banks near houses as an established garden escape.

All names: Arum italicum Miller
