Allium paradoxum
(Map updated: March 2008)

This rather small and inconspicuous plant is somewhat like Allium triquetrum, but differs in having many of the flowers replaced by bulbils (tiny bulbs which act as propagules). It is a very rare garden escape established at a small number of shady sites.

A native of western Asia.

All names: Allium paradoxum (M.Bieb.)
