(Map updated: March 2008)

A small and rather delicate fern which resembles Asplenium trichomanes but has a green midrib to the leaf instead of black. It is much more restricted and is confined to the Carboniferous limestone outcrops of Co. Fermanagh within Northern Ireland. (Also found on the same rock type in the Republic of Ireland).

All names: Asplenium viride Huds.; Asplenium trichomanes-ramosum L.
