| Contributors to the Vascular Plant Database for Northern Ireland |
The Vascular Plant Database for Northern Ireland (VPDNI) currently contains over 730,000 records. These records have been collected over many years by a wide range of different people and organisations.
Below is a list of the main contributors to the VPDNI.
Botanical Society of the British Isles. A large percentage of the database has been added since 1997 due to the enthusiasm for the BSBI Atlas 2000 Project. The BSBI Vice county recorders have collected a huge amount of data which has been computerised either by themselves or in the Ulster Museum.
