Summary of site:

The entrance to this pothole is usually covered by a sheet of corrugated iron. The first 2m of the drop is confined but then opens to a further descent of 7m into a pool with a small decorated chamber to the side. A narrow slit leads to a second, muddy chamber and digging has forced a steep, narrow descent to a third chamber—Crystal Chamber. A tight squeeze through a rift enters a final small chamber with a 2m, gravel-filled pot in its floor.

This cave has developed on a fault line projected to enter Pollaraftra in the vicinity of the Canals (see Key Site 1162).
