What's in ... Fermanagh?
|
County Fermanagh is dominated by Upper and Lower Lough Erne. This lake complex is now linked to the Shannon waterway, forming the longest navigable inland waterway in Europe. The highlands of Co.Fermanagh feature classic karst countryside with limestone pavements and caves. The show-caves at Marble Arch are a popular tourist attraction. Geological walks have been developed across Cuilcagh Mountain and into Co.Cavan.
