Meet 7.00pm at Hazelbank Park car park. Take the third exit from roundabout at the Newtownabbey end of the M5 (NGR J 354 814).

We will walk south along the cycle path on the shore side of the M5, towards Dargan, to examine newly established plants along the path and former refuse tip. There should be birds on the foreshore. There is also a marshy area at the northern end of the park.

Bring flora, hand lenses and binoculars.
