EXPLANATORY TEXT
This species was once grouped in the subgenus Agonum s. Paranchus under the Genus Agonum, then was grouped under the Genus Platynus. It is now grouped in the Genus Paranchus and has therefore changed name from Platynus albipes to Paranchus albipes
